'Dance Moms' Abby Lee Miller Speaks Out After Prison Sentencing

Dance Moms' Abby Lee Miller was recently sentenced to one year and one day in prison, followed by two years supervised release.

The 50-year-old reality star appeared Wednesday (5/10) on Good Morning America to talk about the sentencing.

"A year and a day," Lee Miller said. "It sounds like a movie title."

Lee Miller was initially indicted in 2015 on 20 charges of bankruptcy fraud, concealment of bankruptcy assets and false bankruptcy declarations after an investigation from the  FBI, IRS and postal inspectors.

"I wasn't ever trying to hurt anyone," the dance instructor said. "[In hindsight] I would never have filed for bankruptcy ever. I do not recommend it."

Miller has 44 days to report to prison.
