I'd be a liar if I didn't admit to having butterflies about Isaac having surgery on Friday afternoon. After fracturing his elbow earlier in the week, Isaac had a few pins put in and while a lot of kids would be scared Isaac was not. Kristy and I are lucky to have a little boy like him that we can call our son. The doctors and nurses with incredible and while he's had a little bit of pain over the weekend he's overall really good.
Man's weekend was over the weekend. It's 8-10 of us in a cabin about an 1 1/2 north of the cities and it's a blast. Since Isaac had surgery on Friday I ended up going up on Saturday and we did a little bit of everything, screwed around on ATV's, drank beer, ate smoked meat and complained about our wives. (The last part is not true, we at not times complained about our wives because they're incredible people who make our lives much richer.)
