Things From Your Childhood You'll Only Know if You're Over 30

If you're in your 30's, these were all staples of your childhood that you will TOTALLY remember.

Mr. Owl from the Tootsie Pop commercial — who, in retrospect, was really a HUGE jerk!

Amassing a collection of scratch ‘n’ sniff stickers

Your morning started with a healthy cereal like “Mr T’s Crispy Sweet Corn and Oats Cereal”; S’Mores Crunch, Ice Cream Cones Island or one of those other ones that gave you a sugar high before you jumped on the bus.

You grew up knowing to NEVER, EVER, EVER to touch a stereo system that was in a glass cabinet.

Getting excited whenever the Sears Wish Book was delivered - of course you then immediately circled all the toys you wanted to get

On Saturday mornings, it feels like you heard this what feels like a billion times when your favorite ABC Saturday morning cartoon went to commercial.

The cool Book It pin wasn’t the only thing that encouraged you to read, it was the free Pizza Hut pizza.

You were actually EXCITED to take a bath with Mr. Bubble.

You were freaked out by Max Headroom, basically ‘cause you thought he was going to come through the TV and grab you.

Looking for dirt around the house just so you could use the Dustbuster.

Spooning your yummy Nestle Quik powder out of a metal tin:

Getting a hankering for some cheese every time you saw a Time for Timer PSA “Hankering for a Hunk O’ Cheese

Burning the back of your legs whenever you went down a metal slide on a playground on a hot day

Watching Mr. Belvedere and singing along to its catchy AF theme song:

Playing and then wanting a Pizza Party.

Getting excited whenever the Sears Wish Book was delivered — of course you then immediately circled all the toys you wanted to get.

Trying to play with a Power Pad…which resulted in you having to just use your hands to pound the buttons

And because that wasn’t enough, you had to get the Nintendo Power Glove.

Walking by the Disney Store and being completely mesmerized because it looked like a neon Art Deco movie theater.

Putting on the radio just so you could watch a flower dance along to the music

Getting a character cake for your birthday…which was made up of 90% frosting

Pauly Shore was hilarious when he said…

Your addiction to you computer began as soon as you were able to IM your bff!

And finally, the exuberant feeling you got when you saw the brown roof and colorful paneling of a Toys “R” Us
