The LGBT rights page on WhiteHouse.gov has been removed

Now that Donald Trump has been inaugurated as the 45th President of the United States, the transition of power from Barack Obama has begun.

It appears as of Friday afternoon that WhiteHouse.gov has gone through a makeover of sorts, including removing a page that previously addressed gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender rights.

According to TechCrunch, the Obama administration introduced the LGBT page on the White House's official website to highlight important policy changes and victories for the LGBT community.

A search of WhiteHouse.gov for 'LGBT' returns no results, meaning there is currently no page that supports the gay and lesbian community. Obviously this could change as Mr. Trump settles into his new position and his team completes the transitions.
