I went back to my hometown this weekend for my niece's birthday party. Friday night there was a bunch of commotion in my mom's neighborhood and people were told to shelter in place. We of course watched out the window at cop cars, firetrucks, etc and eventually learned someone had shot off a gun. They arrested the person and that was the end of it.
Saturday was my niece's party. My sister put together this super extravagant Easter egg hunt and did such a great job!
My niece had such a good time with all her friends!
I also caught up with my high school bestie Sami!
I'm diving on some house projects but I'm lacking in the tool department. My dad is a bit of a hoarder so we went through a ton of his stuff and whatever he had extra he gave to me. I came home with tons of drill bits, a saw, screwdrivers, a level, sawhorses, and more. Although we try to get him to chill out on buying things he doesn't need, this is one of those times his hoarding helped me out lol.
