My name is Nathan Jensen (32) and my partner’s name is Torrance Davis (34). We were driving to work today and heard about the “Big Gay Wedding”, looked at each other and at the same time said “Let’s do it”... so here goes. Torrance was born and raised in Phoenix City Alabama and I was raised on the east side of St. Paul. Torrance and I both found our way to Las Vegas on separate journeys, Torrance getting out of the US Air Force at Nellis Air Force Base after his 4 years of service and I just experiencing new surroundings. Torrance and I met on January 23rd 2007 and have been apart for only 5 days since then (Travel for work). Torrance came out to his family in 2009 after our 2 year anniversary; he did not get a welcomed response. We came to Minnesota for the first time as a couple  in 2009 and it was the first time that he would meet my family. My family has loved and accepted him as part of our family since. Torrance and I decided to move back to Minnesota in November of 2010 and could not be happier. We have been together for 7 and ½ years but wanted to wait until marriage was legal in Minnesota for EVERYONE before we “made it official”. Just recently, Torrance’s mother and younger brother have reached out to include me as part of their family; I can’t tell you how excited we are to have both of our families finally come together. We have been dreaming about our “Big Day” for a while now but have not had the financial resources to fund it. Torrance and I look forward to the fair every year and we both thought there is no better time than now. We start every day listening to your show and would be honored for Dave Ryan to officiate our Big Day.
