I'm no expert but I did learn a few things while buying a house.  I'm using this as an opportunity to give a shout out to the people that helped us because we feel like they did more for us then they had too.

  1. We spent 60 days looking at houses and everyone who said that it's super frustrating when buying a house is right.
  2. Find a realtor you like.  We used Jen from Edina Realty.  (Fun Fact:  She used to be an intern at KDWB.)
  3. Find a loan officer that will answer your questions and when you act like a maniac and have a million questions, will give you just enough information so you can talk to your spouse like you know what you're talking about.
