Ever notice that whenever you want a delicious McFlurry from McDonald's their machine is always "down" for cleaning or maintenance? It's not necessarily broken, but they must go through a very thorough and intense cleaning process which puts the machine out of commission for hours, possibly.
So they're getting rid of the machines.
No, not removing the McFlurry from the menu altogether, but rather replacing the machines with new technology.
The new machines that may come with a completely new design will be manufactured by an Italian company called Carpigiani and will be much easier to clean and might even have the ability to include new flavor options in the future! Sweet!
