Ohio hairstylist Kari Phillips potentially saved her client's, Eileen Corey's, life when she discovered a mole on Corey's hairline that "didn't look right."

Phillips, who's been styling Corey's hair for fifteen years, said she hadn't seen the mark the month prior, which is why she grew concerned. Phillips encouraged Corey to see a doctor, who diagnosed Corey with melanoma. Because Corey acted quickly, she doesn't need to undergo chemo or radiation; she'll simply have surgery to remove the mole.
