Right after the show on Friday, we had an all staff meeting. Well, we found out the meeting was to celebrate Dave's Marconi nomination. The Marconi is the highest award in Radio. Dave won it once, but he was nominated again. He didn't win. He actually lost to a woman who recently lost her battle with Cancer. SO he was obviously more than happy she won. However, just being nominated is awesome, so it was great the boss got him a plaque to celebrate!
Friday, after that meeting I drove straight to Inver Grove Honda. We awarded Hussein with a new Honda! We had a text-to-win contest at the fair, and he won! Friday night, I went on a date with Jake, and then we stopped at Boom Island because the skyline is so awesome there! We took some pics!
Saturday, I went on a bike ride with Jake and his son, and then we hit the NE Farmer's Market which is becoming a weekly routine for me now. I met up with Raven to eat at the Sea Salt Eatery by Minnehaha. We obviously jammed out to some T-Swift, and Raven proved she has wicked road rage!
Oh! And because I can't resist Patina, I stopped by to get some new candles and scents!
Saturday night, I went to my first MN United game. I know NOTHING about soccer, but we had a good time, and they tied. I didn't realize that was an option, but again, I know NOTHING about soccer.
Sunday, I went for a walk around Lake Harriet with my friend Lindsay. OH, and I had breakfast at the LowBrow and met so many sweet people who listen to the show! I also cleared out my bedroom in my basement. I've been using it for storage, but now it's actually a bedroom!
