Friday night, Andrew, Drake, and I went out for dinner and drinks at All Saints in Northeast before going to my cousin's concert.
My cousin Michael is the lead singer of a band called The Astronomers. They've been performing around the Midwest for a while but this is their first official tour. I was so pumped to see that they were making a stop in Minneapolis! I've seen him perform once with an old band 7 years ago and he's come such a long way. I'm so happy for him!
Saturday was a pretty lazy day and sometimes you need those days. Andrew made a nice, healthy dinner and it was probably the highlight of my boring day.
Sunday I grabbed lunch with my friend Tiffany.
Afterwards, we went over to Lake Nokomis for a walk. We stopped and watched some of the hockey games that were being played for the US Pond Hockey Championships. Tiffany's car got stuck in the parking lot so we spent a while trying to get her out. Finally a nice gentleman came along and helped push and we got it out! The last time I went to the Pond Hockey games, my car also got stuck so be careful where you park if you head there for the games next weekend!
