Friday night I grabbed dinner with two girlfriends at Thr3 Jack.
I didn't do much Saturday besides clean and hang out with Andrew so let's jump to Sunday. Andrew and I got up early so we could be at Afton right when it opened. We stopped for coffee at Gladdagh Coffee in St Paul on our way there.
We met up with Andrew's friend at Afton and did some runs together. On the 5th run, his friend took a bad fall and said he was going to sit out for a second. We did one more run and then went to check on him and he asked us to feel his collarbone and it did NOT feel right. We left right away to take him home and he went to the ER and sure enough he broke it. I did not take a picture of that for obvious reasons but here's one from right before we did our first run.
I made some mini wienies and cheese dip for the Packers game.
I wear a Fitbit and kept checking my heart rate throughout the game. It was much higher than it should be because it was quite the stressful game as a Packers fan. I felt hope going into the 4th quarter but unfortunately my team didn't pull through. It's still awesome they made it as far as they did, and even if you are a Vikings fan and don't like the Packers, did you really want to see Tom Brady in ANOTHER Super Bowl? I'm not hating, they came out victorious and deserve to go but sometimes it'd be nice to see a little variety.
