What a beautiful day on Saturday! Sunday was pretty nice too! I hope you got outside to soak in some sun and get some fresh air!
Here's my weekend in five pictures!
Carson had another "last" this weekend. His last prom. He knows how to tie a tie but always looks for a little help and I was happy to give it, knowing it'll probably be the last time he asks me for help with his tie.
Here he is, all dressed up and ready to go.
As you know, I'm a big pet person. I had the honor of helping out at the Walk for Animals on Saturday. It was such a beautiful day and so many people were out with their pets!
I went out riding on Saturday and went to Green Isle, which is about 30 miles southwest of Chanhappnin'. I stopped at a great little bar called The Grey Fox and met these two wonderful people who listen to our show and they gave me this shirt! If you're ever in Green Isle, visit The Grey Fox!
But I have to say, my favorite part of the weekend was actually indoors. My daughter Allison was my guest on my podcast, "Take a Shower, Show up on Time and Don't Steal Anything" and she did so great! She talked about lessons she's learned, including breaking a habit that undermines us when we try to express our opinions effectively. Smart girl!
