Burger King Jumps On The Impossible Burger Train

I have never felt more conflicted in my life.

Let me start with this, I LOVE Impossible Burgers. If you've never had one/heard of one, Impossible Burgers are a soy-and-vegetable-based burger. It still bleeds like the traditional beef because of an added ingredient called heme, a molecule found in nearly all living plants and animals. Most importantly they taste AWESOME.

I'm not a vegetarian, I'm definitely not vegan, but I will probably order an Impossible burger over a regular beef burger any day of the week.

But here's the problem -

I LOVE McDonalds (plz sponsor me), but today, Burger King announced that they will now be serving and Impossible Whopper.

An IMPOSSIBLE WHOPPER??? This is my nightmare.

OK, might be a tad* dramatic... Burger King isn't the first fast food giant to add the delicious burger to their menu. White Castle and Carl’s Jr. already serve the tasty treat.

The Burgers are currently being tested in a few markets. If all goes well, Burger King will roll out the Impossible Whopper nationally.
