Are You Raising Your Son Wrong? Check This Out

I am so guilty of doing exactly what this article is about.

When Carson would get hurt playing sports or falling off his bike, my reaction, at least partly, was to say, "Man up.  Walk it off.  Stop crying."

I never did that with Allison.  I'd run over to her at the slightest hint of an injury and make sure she knew I was there for her and to encourage her to "cry it out."

What about you?  Do you treat your boys differently when they get hurt?

Check out this great article from parents.com
