Toys 'R' Us just announced last week that it's going thru bankruptcy and closing all of its stores across America. Our family had two $25 gift cards that Toys 'R' Us said it would honor until April 15th and when I showed up to their store in Minnetonka it looked like something out of a movie. It was insane, empty aisles, toys piled up on the floor and a bare-bones staff.
Everything is on sale, my wife actually went into the Maple Grove location and maybe the "going out of business" sale hasn't arrived there yet because the store was very different but wow! It was a sad day!
